The train ride is always too short. Soon we were in Davis and rolling to our hotel rooms.

Crepeville seems to be pretty popular. We had a table next to the line which stretched to the front door.

And they're off! Rolling through Davis on our way back to San Francisco by way of Cloverdale, Jenner, and Petaluma.

The Berryessa Gap. Last year that hillside in the distance was blackened by a recent fire.
ewalstad:
The glory hole still spilling, although much less than when we were here a couple weekends ago.
ewalstad:
There's always things to do whenever we stop. So, we stretch, eat, adjust layers, apply sunscreen, AND gawk at the glory hole.
