March 4 - Last month it was the American Revolution and today it was the Civil War...time is really flying by!! I'm am so thankful for these folks that give their time for the reenactments that bring history to life.

September 3 - Yesterday I attended a 'Gathering' of Civil War re-enactors. I just love these! I'm thankful for such a fun way to learn about our country's history.

September 3 - The folks that participate in Civil War Re-enactments work hard to have as many details as possible appear true to the period. And I enjoy the challenge of making them appear period as well.
