KMKazie: Sat 09/04/2021: Riding Spring Lake trail in west Illinois.
KMKazie: It has about 10 miles of loops.
KMKazie: The lake. People are fishing. No one's riding.
KMKazie: Maize Calligrapher! according to iNat. I saw a lot of corn fields on the way to the park.
KMKazie: The loops have many splits and merges and a little confusing.
KMKazie: It is supposed to be a "lookout" according to the trail map. Oh, well.
KMKazie: Found it almost bottomed out after the ride. Yeah, there were some steep dips.
KMKazie: BK vs. McD. A line continues to form for McDonald's. Burger King not so much. But I'm (almost) always on King's side.
KMKazie: Sun 09/04/2021: A beautiful morning at I-74E Spoon River Rest Area.

KMKazie: Historic Route 66 going through the downtown. Pubs and bars are on both sides.
KMKazie: Torii (鳥居)?
KMKazie: Yes. Bloomington, IL and Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan are long time sister cities.
KMKazie: Walking through the garden.
KMKazie: Overlooking a mock chashitsu (茶室 or tea room) or tea house.
KMKazie: 2012 was the 50th anniversary.
KMKazie: Rode Farmdale trail.
KMKazie: I guess I missed the most fun part. Schroll's.
KMKazie: Heading home.
KMKazie: Wally's near Pontiac, IL. The largest gas station I've ever seen. How many pumps? Likely 72 of them.
KMKazie: Pumping for the last time near Chelsea, MI. The largest touch panel I've seen on a gas pump.
