ck122: This skinny little rickshaw driver pedaled us all over Kathmandu in the rain looking for an international photo exhibit we wanted to see. Up hills, down hills, I felt so bad for him I paid him double. He even waited while we went inside.
ck122: This photo was one of the early buffalo damage shots. I included it here because the upper quarter is a completely random image, but it happened to have a motorcyclist in the exact same spot as the bottom photo.
ck122: If you are lucky to be at North Palace Restaurant, I hope this Mongolian cover band will be playing. They are excellent.

ck122: Golden alcoves containing images of Buddha surround the stupa at Swayambunath. They were usually closed with a locked chain mail curtain. This one was open.
ck122: Mad dogs and tourists. This one is sleeping on the bottom shelf of a prayer candle rack.
ck122: There was a man inside. He was not dressed as a monk, but be was bestowing blessings of some sort. Sometimes the smoke from the incense was so thick, he was barely visible.
