With my jack in position I now have to jack my Freelander to a height that I can fit on my spare wheel

With a heavy 4 X 4 it is a strenuous job to jack up the car sufficiently high to remove the flat tyre. Fortunately the jack supplied with my car is easy to operate even for a woman

I loosened the wheelnuts before jacking up the car. Now the flat tyre was clear of the ground I can undo the 5 nuts holding on the wheel. The Freelander is supplied with a long strong wheelbrace which gives me leverage to loosen tight nuts.
