Just around the corner from my hotel is this hidden little gem of a park that most of the locals probably don't even know about. Iveagh is pronounced just like Ivy, by the way.

Statue of Molly Malone, world-famous fishmonger, prostitute and pub namesake. The Tart with the Cart. The Dolly with the Trolley. The Trollop with the Scallop. The Flirt in the Skirt. Etc. Dubliners love to nickname their statues.

So, this is the rather promising foyer of the National Gallery here in Dublin. Unfortunately the rest of the place simply doesn't live up to this. Most of it was closed, half the walls were bare and most of what was up was fairly unimpressive. Ah well. I
