Uniden 50 XL , my second pocket scanner from around 1985 . still works but makes a haunting echo when turned on. not a bad scanner for the time.

PRO - 83. This little scanner i bought the first time it was for sale for $50, its outward appearance is surpassed by super performance. it may not have all the freqs but it pulls in like gangbusters super sensitive. and just two AAA batteries

Radio shack 1980 ground plane. would love to have this old scanner antenna back, i think this antenna blew doors of any discone all band sold today. not to mention the old style took a pounding in the weather and kept straight.
