Clasheen: Bag sewn up, only the cord on the top edge and the handles to stitch on now
Clasheen: Concentrating on the circles of prefelt first
Clasheen: Who says that I don't like stitching?
Clasheen: Ten layers of wool, 8 of merino and 2 of gotland
Clasheen: Work in progress showing the prefelt circles
Clasheen: Thick felt cut out into 4 pieces showing the linen thread I used to stitch them together
Clasheen: Pieces of the bag cut out prior to stitching and beside the picture of Rathgeeran rock art which was my inspiration
Clasheen: Stitching into the felt in a certain way causes lovely raised and depressed areas
Clasheen: A special stitch to over sew the seams
Clasheen: A herringbone style stitch to join the inside of the seams together
Clasheen: More stitching at the top of the lighter grey to add a raised panel
Clasheen: Lovely design when the herringbone stitch is sewn but this will be covered up later to join the darder felt together
Clasheen: Cord attached to top edge and the first handle stitched on
