Pic 01 - in a series of pics I plan to post that show me as a child growing up with Lego and other classic toys. This was Christmas of either 1977 or 78. I believe that's the Lego Technic set 853 that I'm looking at.

Lego : Classic Space Set 483 this was Christmas 1977 or 78 for me. That's my dad holding it. I wish they still sold them in this style box where you could open it and see all the parts and pics of the model and alternate builds etc.
