donasay2000:
jig compete in normal configuration can set head tube and seat tube angles and angle and independent of each other. BB drop set with vertical location of BB seat tube post and or rear axle locator
donasay2000:
Head tube/ seat tube cones made from massive plumb bobs I found in a hardware store. not perfect cone angle but easy inexpensive solution and works when I do not have a lathe
donasay2000:
Back of jig set up as normal jig
donasay2000:
BB mount and 90 degree attachment point on jig beam. One each side allows BB drop to be adjusted and any seat tube angle to be selected. BB mount is 1/2 all thread and "converted" 1 piece crank bearing cones.
donasay2000:
cheesy but no machining dummy rear axle with optional disc brake alignment jig. Axle is 130 mm without and 135 with caliper locator. Simply made with an old threaded axle, piece of seat stay and axle cones and nuts. Simple but works with no machining
donasay2000:
Set up as Keel Jig l can use seat tube upright cone off center or can mount seat tube upright without the aluminum place BB holder and use at actual seat tube angle
donasay2000:
Back of jig configured at keel jig like Paterek manual. Can set up with the flat plate holding the BB or can use the seat tube mast with BB post without the flat plate. Works either way. Bit of plate extends below keel to clamp in table.
donasay2000:
can mount seat post cone off center or angle of upright if need in keel jig position if using aluminum plate to hold BB instead of the seat tube upright.
donasay2000:
rear dummy axle with disc caliper locator mounted. Just a piece of plate with 6mm nuts brazed in correct location for STD Int std caliper mount. dummy axle is 135mm with disc locator and 130 without so can use same dummy axle for either spacing
donasay2000:
dummy rear axle on jig set up as keel jig. BB holder centers BB over one center extrusion line. Makes easy to reference center from any location. Works same for other configuration as well.
donasay2000:
Dummy real axle with ability to locate all 3 axis with jig in regular configuration
donasay2000:
90 brackets some with alignment tabs others not. Tabs work well as long as every angle is exact 90 so have several of those have some with tabs on one face only allowing that fact to be rotated off axis with the extrusion grooves and some with no tabs.
donasay2000:
BB mounting cones made from 1 piece crankset bearing cones with washer or 1/2 inch nuts brazed so can thread of mount on 1/2 inch all thread for BB mounting to jig.
donasay2000:
Other side of cones modified to mount std BB shell. Can also be used as head tube cones but harder to verify center like with plumb bob.
donasay2000:
Best part breaks down to nothing for storage in messy garage
