katecphtank: The down side of gravel roads. In all 2 punctures on this one safari trip and 1 puncture at Deadvlei on the bus. But no punctures on our trusty Toyota in 4600 km! (We kept an eye out for predators while he was changing the wheels, as we were in Etosha.
katecphtank: “Ghost” Elephant, Etosha. It looked almost white as had been rolling around in some of the light colored mud in the area.
katecphtank: This female rhino had the most magnificent horn. The park tends to capture and cut off the males horns in order to cut down poaching, but they leave the females intact, so they have a chance to defend themselves against males.
