onceuponalauren: This was just a few minutes into the subway ride on the way to the rally. I can tell because we're still smiling.
onceuponalauren: ...so we decided to walk!
onceuponalauren: Rally or bust! (And by 'bust' I mean we'd just really like to have a good time, please!)
onceuponalauren: Follow this guy.
onceuponalauren: part of the deal!
onceuponalauren: Best. Crowd. Ever.
onceuponalauren: "Death to the Extreamists"
onceuponalauren: installing fear
onceuponalauren: 250,000 people, totally silent.
onceuponalauren: My favorite sign: "Bring Back Crystal Pepsi"
onceuponalauren: start 'em young.
onceuponalauren: Reason is tasty!
onceuponalauren: This really was a sane crowd. No one was pushing or shoving or rude or loud. Everyone was just really happy to be there.
onceuponalauren: It took us all morning to think of these.
onceuponalauren: Well done, Sister Suffragette.
onceuponalauren: On ze' Mall
onceuponalauren: On ze' Mall
onceuponalauren: probably.
onceuponalauren: This is when we realized that we drove 4 hours, got up early to craft signs, walked 3 miles to stand with hundreds of thousands of people...and not hear anything.
onceuponalauren: No idea what this guy was supposed to be.
onceuponalauren: These guys have really crafty moms.
onceuponalauren: "my arms are getting tired"
onceuponalauren: It got real cozy half way through.
onceuponalauren: We're here! (and my legs are stiff)
onceuponalauren: THE TRUTH.
onceuponalauren: Gregg's not actually awake at this point. That's what the glasses were for.
onceuponalauren: More truthiness.
onceuponalauren: This is when things got out of control.
onceuponalauren: he's sad, so sad, but laughing! oh he's so sad.
