Route 384 was retained with new electric buses. In the form of Volvo BZLs which are a new type to London. Not keen on the design but heard they’re good to drive and ride.

Old Vs Newish. On the 30th March route 97 moved to Lee Interchange garage. At the same time the Scania OmniCities were replaced by Wright Streetdecks. Here’s a comparison of the old and new allocation.

Old Vs New. Route W7 received a batch of WDEs to replace its VWs which moved to the 28. VWHs are also used alongside the WDEs.

The 379 recently received its electric buses in the form of Switch Metrocities. The same used on the 377.

Over a week ago the W5 received new Switch MetroCity EVs and moved to Walthamstow Avenue Garage.

Route 298 moved over to Uno following Sullivan Buses’ decision to end all its TFL contracts.

Route 299 moved over to Go-Ahead following Sullivan Buses’ decision to end all its TFL contracts.

Route 217 moved over to Arriva following Sullivan Buses’ decision to end all its TFL contracts.

Route 389/399 were lost to Go-Ahead along with the 299. The new contracts were meant to start next February. However, due to the situation with Sullivan Buses it commenced early. Except yesterday Metroline operated the 389/399 for one day.

Route W9 returned back to Metroline after seven years on Saturday. During that seven years it was operated by Sullivan Buses. Until they ceased their TFL services last month. Stagecoach stepped in temporarily to cover the route until last Friday.

Route 217 moved over to Go-Ahead London yesterday. Previously operated temporarily by Arriva when Sullivan Buses ceased their TFL services.
