Eagles, Bombay Hook NWR, 1/24/20. Trying out my Tamron 150-600mm G2 combined with Canon 1.4x TC. Nest is about 1/2 mile away. To my eyes, I saw one eagle spreading its wings. On my iPad, though, turns out it’s 2 eagles mating.

Eagle and nest, Bombay Hook NWR, 1/24/20. Trying out my Tamron 150-600mm G2 combined with a Canon 1.4x extender. This nest is about 1/2 mile from where I was. Certainly way beyond its useable reach, but it’s clear what you’re looking at.
