Henry's Scorth cave which was long with a very high roof. Situated 0.5 km north of Trollochy, just north of Crawton Head.

A lovely barnacle goose, Branta leucopsis, landed beside our sea kayaks for some company for a few minutes. We were paddling into the wind opposite Old Hall Bay, Dunnottar at the time.

Rolling waves off Crawton Ness which were tidal as we were paddling against the flood tide and only moving at 2.3 km/h to 3.0 km/h off the headland, speeding upto over 5 km/h as we headed in to 200 metres offshore.

Sparkling sea, as we rounded Trelung Ness in to Trelung Bay for a lunch stop (NO881815).

Spotted at least two Bottlenose dolphins, Tursiops truncatus, off Dunnimaol point, just south of Dunnottar Castle (NGR NO882 835) which can be just made out at the start off the video. You can just make out a dark shape of one of them off the roccky poin

Paddling past Bowdun Head, gusting Force 3-4 from the WSW with Dunnottar Castle coming in to view. Got some more shelter in Castle Haven. Later in the paddle the wind direction changed to the West.

Rounding Gu' Craig sea stack, Turturra (NGR NO 881 821), approximately halfway between Stonehaven and Crawton Ness.
