The Fontana del Nettuno (Fountain of Neptune). The basin part (without the sculptures) was designed in 1574 by Giacomo Della Porta, who also designed the Moor Fountain at the other side of the square.

Fontana del Nettuno. In 1878 Antonio della Bitta added the sculpture of "Neptune fighting with an octopus", and Gregorio Zappalà created the other sculptures, based on the mythological theme of the "Nereids with cupids and walruses".

La Fontana del Moro (the Moor Fountain). It represents a Moor, or African (perhaps originally meant to be Neptune), standing in a conch shell, wrestling with a dolphin, surrounded by four Tritons. It is placed in a basin of rose-colored marble.

Palazzo Massimo di Pirro (or palazzo Istoriato) and the only column left from the Odeon. The building owes its name to a statue of Mars found during local excavations, and originally mistaken for king Pyrrhus.

Palazzetto Massimi (or Palazzetto Istoriato - "Illustrated"), an annex of palazzo Massimo, was once covered with frescoes by Polidoro da Caravaggio and Maturino da Firenze (1523), now almost completely lost.
