Yours truly and wife at a semi frozen lake in Norway. Sunglasses would have been useful, but they're still in the glove compartment of the rental car in England! Nice young English girl offered to take our photo.

My wife's look when she wants to look ok for the photo, but wants me to put the bloody camera away. Stavanger, Norway - perfect place for lunch.

Interesting shipping at Stavanger, Norway - I looked into the apparent hospital ship - it has had a fairly uninteresting life and was done up in this livery for a movie!

Geiranger, Norway - I thing the roof needs mowing. This style of roofing is continued to preserve tradition. A timber ceiling covered with dry birch bark and then turf provides excellent insulation.

When the Queen Elizabeth berthed at Hellesylt, Norway for the first time last June, the local schoolband and dancers turned out for the occasion - and they were brilliant - they played Colonel Bogie (amongst others) - and the town and people were great!

Our ride through the Fjords in Norway - this photo taken at Hellesylt - such a beautiful, friendly town. The local school band greeted us as it was the first time our ship had visited.

Everywhere you look in the Norweigan Fjords you see spectacular waterfalls - this one was near Flamm - the photographs don't do it justice.
