This is Christmas dinner at my mother's parent's house in Vancouver, Canada. It looks like I'm about 2 years old, so it must be about 1955 or so. That's Grandma Beatrice on the left, at the front edge of the table. Next is my father and mother, then me

This is how I remember Grandma from when I was little. She actually did smile occasionally. I'm not sure where this photo was taken, but I'm wondering if it was a photographer's supply store.
