Leeds Town Hall. Saw Argent here in 1973. I couldn't hear the traffic when I came outside!

The building dates back to 1858. Opened by Queen Victoria it is one of the largest town halls in England. The organ is the largest 'three manual' in Eiurope

Leeds Town Hall. Exterior. The design (1853) by Cuthbert Broderick was used as a template for town halls around The Empire. The clock tower was an afterthought and made the building the tallest in Leeds till 1966
