10 gal SL aqua low-tech tank update. March 16, 2020. Trimmed the plants on the left side (monte carlo, Myrio Guyana, rotala H'ra, green, Periya, coin leaf and some stems of ludwigia palustris mini 'super red').

SL aqua 10 gal low-tech tank update. March 28, 2020. Added three Bucephalandra (Brownie ghost kapus hulu, rainbow marble and Paris) from the 5 gal golden back yellow shrimp tank.

March 30, 2020 update. Inserted osmocote plus root balls under the stem plants throughout the tank. Cleaned the substrate and filter media and 50% water change done.

04122020 update. Installed new Chihiros rgb45 plus A light yesterday. Removed all Ludwigia senegalensis plants and the single Rotala macrandra green plant.

04142020 update. I noticed white leaves on Monte carlo few days earlier. I suspected nitrogen deficiency so added extra nitrate yesterday. Measured nitrate today and it was around 5 ppm. I will dose little extra nitrate from now on.

04142020 update. The female red cherry shrimp is already berried. The color is just amazing due to the new Chihiros rgb45 plus A light.

04182020 update. Rotala H'ra and ludwigia arcuata are showing yellowish green growth on the top due to higher nitrate levels. However Monte carlo and myriophyllum Guyana are showing better growth due to the same reason.

04222020 update video. The water is looking little bit cloudy, possibly due to bacterial bloom.

04242020 update. Bacterial bloom is still there. Trimmed AR vareigated, rotala enie, coin leaf, hra, myrio guyana, ludwigia mini super red, arcuata, pogostemon stellatus dassen. Performed 30% water change.
