CSX Q213 with one of the two active HLCX units in the MPI paint scheme. I have caught this unit a few times but this was my first in good sunlight. Q213 is one of the better trains in Florida to get because of the odd ball power from waycross it gets

CSX Q647 on the very last leg of its journey in Waycross, GA about to enter Rice Yard with one of my favorite leasers leading on one of the nicest days I have seen in weeks.

CSX Q213 with HLCX 7195 leading on a clear blue skies morning. This train would take the siding and wait for mechanical due to the horn stopped working. I also noticed out of all the HLCX I have shot this one has different strips on the nose then the rest

NS 330 today with CIT 6032 EX BN Green Triclops leading as they cross the St. Marys River. This is at the FL/GA line. I am standing on the Georgia side while the train is still in Florida in this Pic

NS 285 just coming into Florida from Georgia wasting no time with CEFX 1020 leading the way. I got very lucky getting this train in good sun if you notice all the clouds. I got the perfect sucker hole right when the train came by

NS 330 with a very nice consist of leasers this morning including CIT 6003 (SD60), EX BNSF 6034 (SD60M), & CIT 6017 (SD60). NS has received and is still receiving plenty of leasers which will make for fun consists to get. Sorry for the backlit picture

CSX W071 heading south with a ballast train. Work trains on CSX are always fun to catch because you never know what kind of power they will have and many times its leasers or at least standard cab units.

With a storm developing to the north we see CSX M581 coming south towards Atlanta, GA with CITX 142 leading the way. I have caught this engine leading when FEC had them but this was my first time getting it leading in North Georgia on CSX

CSX W071 pulling into the siding track in Dalton, GA with the sun just coming out as a storm was to my back that had just passed. I never pass up a chance to get a leaser leading

NS 237 coming through Buford, GA with CEFX 118 SD90MAC leading. This is my first blue CEFX 90MAC and I personally think they look way better than the maroon CEFX 90MAC's

CSX Q210 with leased power in charge of todays train as they pass through Graysville, GA and just about a half mile behind me he would enter into Tennessee on their trip north to Louisville, KY

CSX G103 on a hot hazy day with overcast conditions and eventually severe storms would start to pop up all around. Power for this train was CN 2172, CSX 885, and HLCX 7201 for a very interesting consist coming through North Georgia

A lot of people seem to only want that shot in perfect sun or they don't bother. Well not me since the railroad runs 24 hours in any weather. Just shows what they have to work in. Here is CSX Q255 in what would turn into a severe thunderstorm

Plenty of leasers to be seen on CSX right now. Here we see CSX I235 with a CEFX leaser leading just as a big thunderstorm was coming up from behind me which is why it looks so dark. If this train waited 5 more minutes it would have been pouring down rain.

To add to all the recent leaser catches here we have CSX W054 a weed spraying train working its way down the chatt sub with CEFX 3172 in the lead

As some of my followers know by now I am a huge fan of leasers. I went out today for one that I knew about and ended up catching 5 total for the day. Here is L230 coming into Chattanooga on their trip north to Nashville with CEFX 3116 and HLCX 8177

CSX Q255 coming out of a storm as it travels down the K&A towards Atlanta with FURX 3029 leading. I just love catching leasers in the lead. You never know when they will be stored again

NS 325 with 4 brand new Ferrosur (FSRR) motors in tow. I Planned to chase this with some friends but the CEFX was taken out of the lead before they even left the yard due to the headlight knob being broken so they couldn't turn the headlights on.
