jeffgmarston: This is called the Pacman Nebula. It’s about 45 lightyears wide and 9800 lightyears away from us. I used a Zwo iso2600mc camera mounted on a SkyWatcher Esprit 150 telescope.
jeffgmarston: This is called the Trifid Nebula. It is a star forming nebula and is about 4100 lightyears distant and 42 lightyears in diameter.
