Some quite long concrete pathways left over from it's industrial past, lots of birds singing in the bushes.

Some areas at Canvey Wick make you think you could be in the middle of a wood, hopefully in time more of this area will taken over by trees.

The tides out but coming in quite fast. Need to be careful not to get caught out while walking around Two Trees island.

I think this is the shortest vehicular railway that we've ever seen. There were steps too.

Southend not only have benches that have memorial plaques but also Olive trees. Which we think is an excellent idea.

Our first holiday (self catering) in a while. We had the top four windows on the right, they faced south so the bedsit was bright and airy. We could just see Southend pier.
