emmdee: 1 - The canoeist approaches the weir, nose forwards
emmdee: 2 - manoeuvering to draw alongside the weir
emmdee: 3 - in position alongside the weir
emmdee: 4 - the canoeist gets out onto the top of the weir wall
emmdee: 5 - he reaches over and gets hold of the canoe
emmdee: 6 - he carefully turns round, holding the canoe
emmdee: 7 - the way to put the canoe back into the water is stern first, I presume
emmdee: 8 - don't let go of the canoe!
emmdee: 9 - nearly ready to get back in the canoe - "D'you want a hand, mate?"
emmdee: 10 - got the paddle out, just about to get in... "Thanks mate, I'm fine!"
emmdee: 11 - this is an awkward point - the back of the canoe is under the weir flow, and hopefully it won't fill with water as he gets in.....
emmdee: 12 - Phew! Successfully sitting in the (rather damp) canoe - but facing the wrong way!
emmdee: 13 - Well, he got the canoe over the weir, but its facing the wrong way.....
emmdee: 14 - Well, first of all one paddles backwards into the middle of the river....
emmdee: 15 - a mid-river three point turn!
emmdee: 16 - the three point turn, nearly complete
emmdee: 17 - turning around to head downstream
emmdee: 18 .....and he paddles away downstream, towards Bristol!
