The Biloxi Lighthouse was erected in 1848 and was one of the first cast-iron lighthouses in the South. We were lucky to be there at sunset!

Original art by artist Sam Gambino painted approx. 1996. All rights reserved by artist. I tried an HDR image of the mural painted on South Church Street. As the building has gotten older, the painting has become more weathered. I love the textures.

This old building was shot from inside a moving train on the tracks where the movie Deliverance was filmed. It was a scary place even today set along the Chattooga River. Do not go there alone! I say again it was a scary place!!
