Lisa Percival: I found this old video from 2017 of Smoki laying on the bridge watching the fish.
Lisa Percival: These Easter Lilies in the front flower pot come back every year.
Lisa Percival: I've been bringing my purple shamrock plant inside during our recent storms so it doesn't get damaged and today I find this stuff growing on one of the leaves. It's pretty but probably not good.
Lisa Percival: Took a few more things out of the greenhouse. We had a chance for severe storms so I didn't want to put anything fragile out. Everything survived, we had mostly just heavy rain and it's a lot colder out today (Sunday). The squirrels did dig in all the pot
Lisa Percival: Backyard lights. Have to mix in a few with color, mostly because a bunch burned out within weeks of putting them up. Gotta love the quality of stuff from Amazon.
Lisa Percival: Last year's Halloween pumpkin. Hasn't changed since we got it so I just leave it alone. It's real too, not a fake one.
Lisa Percival: The only frog that doesn't jump in when I go outside.
Lisa Percival: The Columbine is flowering along the back fence. The Colocasia that comes back every year no matter how cold it gets is coming back strong too.
Lisa Percival: Bob is a character. He is also HIV+ which makes his immune system weak. He needs a monthly steroid shot and lately he's been getting a monthly long lasting antibiotic shot. He went today for some blood work and to get his shots. He is a very good patient.
Lisa Percival: Our BloomSky camera barely works anymore. No more animations that were really nice. I hope I can find something similar but it’s hard to find products that companies will continue to support anymore. It was like a weather station and live camera combined.
Lisa Percival: In the greenhouse rafters today He doesn't seem to mind the heat and humidity. #greentreefrog #frog
Lisa Percival: I divided the Amaryllis last year and now there are 3 big pots of them flowering instead of the one small one. They seem to love the extra room. They are still living in the greenhouse because it protects them from wind and today from the roofers.
Lisa Percival: The Ajuga I have in a flower pot has started to flower. It's living temporarily in a small portable greenhouse we set up every fall to put some stray plants in that aren't super cold sensitive. There is also a small variety of an elephant ear type plant t
Lisa Percival: The tiny new flower stem growing at the base of the old flower stem. I wonder how many it will grow? #venusflytrap
Lisa Percival: The Venus flytrap only has one or two buds left to open. Watching what the old flowers are doing. I think it will make seeds but with only one plant I don't know if the flowers were pollinated. It also looks like it is making another flower stem at the bo
Lisa Percival: Bob looked really good in his puffy vest for his doctor appointment today until he removed it in the carrier before we even got out the door. It's super chilly today from the cold front that moved through last night.
Lisa Percival: The geranium started flowering in the greenhouse so I pulled it out and put it in the sun but it's supposed to be windy and stormy tonight so I think I'll put it back in. It grew a little spindly in the greenhouse. #geranium
Lisa Percival: Misty is feeling better, she likes to stare at me though which is kind of creepy. Not sure if it's me or her. I know I have health stuff going on but can they see it? #Misty #Cat
Lisa Percival: This is the most roses this bush has had this early that I can remember. #knockout #rose #red #Texas
Lisa Percival: Misty. She had her teeth cleaned on Tuesday and on Wednesday she wasn't feeling well. We took her back to the Vet and they gave her fluids and anti-nausea medicine and she's back to her old self. We were worried for a while because I'm always nervous when
Lisa Percival: There is a black cat that shows up at night to eat the food we put out for feral cats and he has spots and stripes. I've enhanced it here but it's normally not very noticeable. #blackcat #stripes #spots #feralThis is from a photo I took from a video on my
Lisa Percival: The Knockout roses are blooming.
Lisa Percival: The first flower has opened on the Venus flytrap. #venusflytrap #flower
Lisa Percival: The Venus Flytrap flower is still growing. I keep it in a giant glass jar so I found a 2.5 gallon bag that just fits over the jar so I can keep it humid and make sure the cat can't get to it. #venusflytrap
Lisa Percival: The Snapdragons and Pansies are in full bloom. It's supposed to be in the 80's all week.
Lisa Percival: I was concerned about my fly trap last week because it had a few black leaves so I pruned them and watered it and this week I noticed this.
Lisa Percival: I brought the catnip plant inside and had to put it in a room where I could keep the cats from destroying it. Beeb found it and took a few deep inhales.
Lisa Percival: We had freezing rain last night here in San Antonio and surprisingly it's taking a while to melt. I took this from an upstairs window.
Lisa Percival: Everything is looking good in the old greenhouse but we have more cold weather coming so replacing the heater and getting the tarps ready if we need to cover it again. The yellow hibiscus is still blooming and it's the one that froze back to its roots dur
Lisa Percival: The purple shamrock is enjoying being inside. I put it out on nice days but it's getting so busy that I'm afraid any wind will damage it.
