Jani-Lee: Look up - waaaaaaay up. I "borrowed" my husband's lens while he was at work. This Hawk Owl was about 60' up! I might not give the lens back...
Jani-Lee: We understood the "Warning." It certainly is a lot of pressure to hunt for your food everyday but he obliged us with a few quick shots and we graciously carried on our way to allow him to hunt in peace.

Jani-Lee: I have wrestled COVID for the entire month of November. I finally got out yesterday, very early in the morning and went looking in extremely cold weather for an Owl. Found three! I sing praises to a warm truck and heated seats!
Jani-Lee: We were in the ravine looking for moose early Sunday morning and we were treated to this ethereal image across the creek in a meadow instead.
