Heat patina came out o.k.

Mill scale removed, blah blah. Adding a heat patina, sorta gun metal blue grey to the steel bits next.

It's just for alignment the faces for clamping and brazing. It's hard enough when the parts aren't covered in flux, and I couldn't do the same trick with the Anvil dummy axles because the two 100mm I have use different sized bolts.

Had to bust out the Starrett , Nicholson milling machine. That endmill is certainly leaving a weird crappie finish.

Fork coming along. Trying to visualize the rack and it's likely position and stuff, so that when I make it, it proportionately looks good. This is where my lack of experience bites me in the ass.
