n czernysz: Mill scale removed, blah blah. Adding a heat patina, sorta gun metal blue grey to the steel bits next.
n czernysz: It's just for alignment the faces for clamping and brazing. It's hard enough when the parts aren't covered in flux, and I couldn't do the same trick with the Anvil dummy axles because the two 100mm I have use different sized bolts.
n czernysz: Had to bust out the Starrett , Nicholson milling machine. That endmill is certainly leaving a weird crappie finish.

n czernysz: Fork coming along. Trying to visualize the rack and it's likely position and stuff, so that when I make it, it proportionately looks good. This is where my lack of experience bites me in the ass.
