A mate took this shot of me ,in front of my late Dads ,LEYLAND -CLYDESDALE ,now retired in 1978 at Fishers Green pit ,Waltham Abbey ,Essex .Dad had her for 5 years ,great old lorry. I prepared it for MOT the last 2 years when in the workshop .LAR 303L.

In the BISON 2 pamphlet ,great for me HALES CONTAINERS -6x4 skip lorry ,Maclift -lifting gear ,I remember this brand new in Cheshunt ,workshop TL11 engine ,fuller range change gearbox .It attended all the lorry and waste shows ,then to Battersea depot .

Another nice show find ,RMC Lad Leyland ,super comet mixer ,1968 -69 -you can see the later -lettering -the fleet number ,starts with a 4 the same as the ex RMC Lad ,later with a showman .
