A good start to the day - my picture of the Berkeley Street gurdwara framed by the Finnieston Crane has made Picture of the Day in The Herald. I’m really pleased they used it. I tried to get this on a few occasions but the light was never right.

Scottish Maritime Museum, Irvine, North Ayrshire - a good day out. This is the original boiler out of The Waverley paddle steamer - an impressive piece of engineering and look at the scale of it compared to the oil drum next to it.
