So this place is closing down after 100 years or something. A bit of a surprise it's lasted this long. I've walked past it almost every day for the past 10 years but never been in.

So apparently a craft beer place has opened in the old toilet block at the end of the road. Unexpected.

The council are replacing all the street lights in Southend with new LED lights. On this road they seem to have forgotten to remove the old Edwardian(?) lamp post so new and old are side by side.
