So here is our new 9 ft tall winter tree. I've decided that since it makes me smile, I'm leaving it up at least until Valentine's Day, maybe St Paddy's Day. 👍😊😊😊
abaesel:
I've had this sweet-faced Santa Claus since I was 3. A gift from my Aunt Elena on Christmas Eve. It isn't the holidays until he's in his place.

In downtown St Pete visiting the deer under the old banyan trees on Beach on a chilly evening.

#christmaspast 2013. Jason and Jerry on Christmas Day at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel after brunch. @fairmontolympic

This is one of my husband’s favorite memories. Jason’s first snow in Yosemite, November 1988. ❤️❤️❤️
abaesel:
Christmas Day with mom at Uncle Bob and Aunt Elena’s. For a number of years after my dad died in 1968 we spent Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day at my aunt and uncle’s surrounded by much needed love and laughter. This was in 1970. Wow. 50 years ago!
abaesel:
Christmas Eve probably 1962. With my cousin Richard in my living room in Pico Rivera waiting for company to arrive for an annual Christmas Eve party.
abaesel:
Jason in the steamy window of our favorite coffee pub one December afternoon when we lived in Issaquah, Wa. We were regulars at that window often after I picked him up from school. We made so many good friends there. It was like our “Cheers.” Good times.
abaesel:
With my Uncle Bob and Aunt Elena and cousins Christina and Robert on Christmas Day 1967. Their house was always a warm spot on Christmas filled with the smell of good food (enchiladas and Uncle Bob’s spaghetti sauce), kids racing around, maybe Frank Sinat
abaesel:
Christmas Eve with my folks, Jim and Maxine, waiting for family and friends to arrive. Probably 1963. There was a whole lot of love in that chair!
abaesel:
Jason at 7 months in 1988. His first Christmas card photo. We took this in Yosemite when there was an early snow over Thanksgiving. What you don't see here is the photo from a minute later when he fell over and before we could get to him, he face planted
abaesel:
I have a wonderful (and talented) neighbor who just brought by this magically delicious plate of Christmas cookies. 😁
abaesel:
Christmas memories 2015. Jason, home for the holidays, with Freya (who is asking “where the heck is he this year?”)
abaesel:
From last years Christmas Day walk on Pass-a-Grille beach. We wish you all a Merry Christmas. ❤️🎄🌲🌴🎄🌲
abaesel:
The Coffee Pot Bayou turtles are gathering for Christmas. We've never seen so many on the ramp. Happy Christmas magical ones.
abaesel:
Cheers! Dinner is almost ready. Already sipping a 2010 Estate syrah from @glenlyonwinery. Yum.
abaesel:
Christmas cat trying to convince me she was part of the dinner table decorations (she wasn’t successful but she was sure cute trying.) #Freya
abaesel:
It was a wood stork morning. Wood storks and friends on Coffee Pot Bayou on Christmas morning.

Ready for some hot chocolate on a downright chilly day here in St Pete. Fluff > marshmallows.
