Notion storage for the items I need at the machines. This represents a very small portion of my notions. The closet holds the rest of them.

I set up my cutting table in the office across the hall, and store it in the office closet. There is enough room to walk all around the table to cut.

Zadro LED clamp-on light. Much better light than the old fluorescent clamp-on lamp I had.

Had LEDs installed in my sewing room. Finally decent lighting! I took out the chair in the corner for more room, too.

18D x 36W x 28H table for this space was hard to find. I ordered it from Walmart and it has enough room for my coverstitch machine.

Before. The carpet with mat was miserable. I had to pick up my chair all the time because I would roll off the mat and get stuck on the carpet. Maddening!

Sewing books, boxes of notions and pressing supplies are on the right side of the closet..

I use the guest bed as a table while sewing. I place a cardboard grid on it and put my cut pattern pieces, instructions, and notions I need for the project. Everything is just a chair turn away!

I bought rubber chair chair casters as recommended to protect the floor. It also keeps me from sliding all over the laminate. They work great!

My sewing room chair was too deep for me so a few months ago I bought a similar chair with a smaller seat from Amazon. Much more comfortable and saves my back. I transferred the rubber wheels to this one and put the other chair in the office.

I have 4 machines and bought a silicone mat for each one to keep the pedal from sliding on the floor. Only $3.99 for each from Cost Plus World Market.

Cutting mat with duct tape for Patternreview forums. Two mats together has lasted for years this way. Use them open for two mats, closed for one mat.

It was just a matter of lifting out my pattern filing system from the old hope chest to the new one. Love it!
