SewLibra:
Apartment Hill by Wayne Thiebaud. I bought this print in Kansas City at the Nelson-Atkins Museum after seeing the original oil painting. Mr. Thiebold is in his nineties and lives in Sacramento. He used to teach at UC Davis.
SewLibra:
Original oil painting and collage by Barbara Boyd, circa 1971. She was an art student I met when I lived in Hays, KS. There is a lot of texture on it that can only be seen in person.
SewLibra:
The Red Shutters by Camille Przewodek. Had trouble getting the true colors to show on a photo, and had to take it at an angle to avoid reflections. Still, I see myself on the right side of the mat. Oh well, I tried!
SewLibra:
Vegetation I, 1971, by Bud J. Lawson. I had a really hard time with light reflections on the black mat under a glass frame.
SewLibra:
I think this is a garlic flower. It's signed but I can't read the tiny signature written in cursive.
SewLibra:
"Hua Mei" lithograph original 78/1000, by Shufin Fang (looks like anyway). Neighbors bought it for me for dog sitting while they went to the San Diego Zoo.
SewLibra:
Metal wall bamboo and leaves sculpture. It occupies the wall above the tub in the master bath.
SewLibra:
Metal sculpture lamp with candle. It complements the metal wall sculpture in the master bath.

Hand carved giraffe from Namibia, Africa. I bought this about 20 years ago at Cost Plus World Market. Knocked it over and broke the head off a long time ago but fortunately I could glue it on and you can't tell.

Hand carved giraffe from Namibia, Africa. It's in the dining area of the great room. Another one of my many accent lighting ideas. :)
