A Coot (Rallidae family) on the River Thames in Henley. They are territorial, and dive to 2m under water to catch insect larvae to eat.

Wild duck and her brood. She originally hatched 24 but they were eaten by the sparrow hawk. #alderney quite strange to see ducks swimming on the sea!
