aswilliams115: Way behind with the exercises....this one I need lots of practice as I think for me it could be exactly what I need to be wary of....
aswilliams115: #sketchingnowbuildings #lesson2 this is the one I did first and got a bit lost.
aswilliams115: #sketchingnowbuildings #lesson2 drew this building first without thinking and then this one I tried to slow down and get the shapes and it's a lot more accurate!
aswilliams115: Going back to look again at last weeks videos in #lesson2. It's great to be able to draw along with Liz and absorb her processes.
aswilliams115: House around the corner drawn too late in the day and freezing cold! Just fighting against the clock today but wanting to finish off something before the week starts again. Being cold made me go a bit too fast.
aswilliams115: #sketchingbuildings #lesson1 lost definition on the darks also by adding too quickly and then going over again with thicker paint. Grrr. Love that the initial block shape grounds the building, that's a really good technique for me to adopt I think.
aswilliams115: #sketchingnowbuildings Lesson 1 Manly church this was fun with the pencil outline certainly adding a level of confidence to push on with the pen.
aswilliams115: #sketchingnowbuildings lesson 1 abstracting shapes. I must learn to change paper when watercolour is needed otherwise like this cartridge paper I get a bit disappointed the colour sucks straight in.
aswilliams115: #sketching now buildings Lesson 1 -trying to keep pace with Liz during her demos. Fun to challenge myself. Loved the sky outline exercise
aswilliams115: Have to make a start but chose my son's enormous old basketball shoes and didn't manage to fit them on the page! Back to the beginning but now I realise why Liz said tackling runners was complicated....all those laces!
